Sorrento Typesetting Advertising Trade Services, founded in 1968 in Solana Beach, California, has been delivering top-tier packaging and advertising materials for over five decades. In 1971, STATS established its first commercial location in Sorrento Valley — now a hub for major cellular component companies.

Greg Stone acquired the company in 1975, when it was a modest two-person typesetting shop. Under his leadership, STATS expanded to three locations across San Diego, evolving with the industry to offer a full suite of services including typesetting, large-format photo processing, imagesetting, press-match proofing, and more.
